Waddell x Rocket Lab

In 2023, we worked with Olympic great Rob Waddell and his company on a story about a remarkable teenager who had just become the first-ever Pasifika woman to secure an apprenticeship at space company Rocket Lab.

We loved the story and thought it was the perfect piece for a magazine style show, so we approached Seven Sharp, New Zealand's leading 7pm show, to see if they were interested. A few weeks later, Seven Sharp were out at Rocket Lab's South Auckland factory interviewing the star of the piece and her team.

The end result was a great three minute piece profiling Rocket Lab, their hiring practices and showcasing a fantastic young woman who worked hard to achieve her dreams.
