During a 5 year stint as a journalist at 3News (now Newshub), Adrien covered all aspects of news on the 6pm bulletin and other programmes. As well as covering general news, Adrien covered the environment and climate change round.

Following TV3, Adrien founded sustainable fashion brand Offcut (which he sold in 2021), co-directed two UN-funded climate documentaries in Bangladesh and Mongolia, and co-founded Not Another™ – a full-service creative agency.
